ChangeChecklist

About ChangeChecklist

Know what changes before you change it.

ChangeChecklist is a free planning tool for changes that quietly affect many other things: a new phone number, email address, bank, card or home address, a new phone, a domain or DNS move, or a switch between business systems like Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. You answer a few questions and get a plan of what could break, what to update, export or keep, and the safe order to do it in.

How plans are built

Plans come from structured rules, not from an AI writing text on the fly. The same answers always give the same plan, and every item says why it appeared. The details are on How it works.

How we choose and review sources

  • We link only to official sources: provider help centres, government sites and standards bodies. No blogs, forums or affiliate pages.
  • Every official link shows the month it was last checked. Guides show when their sources were last reviewed.
  • Links are re-checked regularly. Pages that move or change are updated or removed.
  • We don't state provider timelines, fees, retention periods or menu paths we can't verify. Where timing matters, the plan tells you to confirm the provider's current policy.
  • Uncertain items are marked "possible", so you can hide what doesn't apply.

Independence

ChangeChecklist is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the companies it mentions. Provider names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to describe what a change touches.

General guidance, not advice

Plans are general guidance. They are not legal, tax, financial or security advice. For decisions with legal or financial consequences, check with the provider or a qualified professional.

Privacy

You don't need an account. Your answers and plans stay in your browser unless you create a share link. We never ask for card numbers, passwords, codes or government ID numbers. See Privacy and Security.
