Privacy
The short version: your plans stay in your browser unless you choose to share one, and we never ask for sensitive numbers.
Last updated October 2026
What happens when you build a plan
The simulator, your answers and the report are calculated in your browser. Plans, checklists, notes and dependency maps are saved in your browser’s storage on this device. They are not sent to our servers.
Clearing your browser data, using a private window, or switching devices means those plans won’t be there. You can export a plan file and import it elsewhere.
What we never ask for
- Phone numbers, email addresses or home addresses
- Card, bank account or transit numbers
- Passwords, one-time codes or recovery codes
- Social Insurance Numbers, Social Security Numbers or other government ID numbers
If you type something that looks like one of these into a free-text field, we warn you and offer to remove it.
Describe your change
When you describe a change in your own words, the text is matched in your browser. It isn’t sent to us or to any AI service.
Shared links
If you create a share link, we store a copy of that plan on our server so the link works: the change type, your answers to the multiple-choice questions, the optional provider names you entered, checklist progress, your own items, and notes only if you choose to include them. Links use a random ID that contains none of your answers. They expire on the date you pick and you can revoke them at any time. Expired and revoked plans are deleted automatically after a short period.
Server logs and security
Like most websites, our server and hosting provider keep short-lived technical logs (for example, request times and errors) to keep the service running and secure. We use IP addresses only in hashed form for rate limiting. We don’t sell personal data.
Analytics and advertising
Analytics, if enabled, use a privacy-focused setup that records only page views and product events such as “simulator completed”. Your answers, notes and plan contents are never included. Advertising, if shown, appears only on informational guide pages and never inside your plan or checklist.
Accounts
You don’t need an account. If optional accounts are introduced later, they will store only what’s needed to sync your plans, and this page will be updated first.
Optional connections in the future
We may later offer an optional way to connect an email account to discover services that depend on it. It is not available today. If it’s offered, it will request the minimum access, explain exactly what is scanned, process as much as possible on your device, keep no unnecessary message content, and let you revoke access and delete data at any time.
