In Yukon
Driver's licence and ID card
You are required by law to update the address on your driver's licence. Go to your local Motor Vehicles office with your current Yukon licence, and you will get a temporary licence while the new one is printed and mailed to you.
Health card
Update your health care card information, including your physical or mailing address, when it changes. You can do this online, in person at Insured Health Services in Whitehorse or a Territorial Agent in rural communities, or by phone.
Health coverage when you move here
New Yukon residents must wait 3 months for coverage to start. If you come from another jurisdiction, your former health care insurance plan covers you during the wait.
Across Canada
Voter registration
Use Elections Canada's Online Voter Registration Service to update the address on your voter registration. If you moved recently, enter your old address to get the option to update it.
Canada Revenue Agency
You can change your address with the CRA online through your CRA account, by phone, or by mailing Form RC325. Online is the fastest method and updates your address immediately.
Mail forwarding
Buy Mail Forwarding online with a Canada Post account or at your nearest post office, and purchase it in advance of your move. Service can start 5 days after purchase for residential customers, or 3 days after purchase if you buy at the post office.
