In Alaska
Driver's license and ID
Alaska DMV says you are required by law to update your records when you move or change your mailing address, and you can do it with its online change of address system. DMV records are not linked, so you must enter each driver's license and vehicle you want updated.
Vehicle registration
Use the Alaska DMV online change of address system to update your vehicle records. Records are not linked, so you must provide the information for every vehicle you want updated.
Voter registration
If your residence changes, you can update your voter registration on the State of Alaska Online Voter Registration System, which requires a valid Alaska driver's license or state ID. You can also update in person at a Division of Elections office, or send a paper form by mail, fax or email to a Regional Elections Office.

Internal Revenue Service
Tell the IRS by using your new address when you file, by sending Form 8822 or a signed written statement, or by telling them in person or by phone.
Mail forwarding
Change your address with USPS online or at your local Post Office. Mail is then forwarded to your new address. Standard mail forwarding lasts 12 months.
