In North Dakota
Driver's license and ID
North Dakota drivers can change their resident or mailing address online. A new license is not sent. Commercial license holders must get a duplicate license instead.
Vehicle registration
Registered vehicle owners can change their permanent address online, using their registration or renewal card for reference. This does not change your driver license address.
Voter registration
North Dakota does not require voter registration, so there is no registration address to update. Voters need a valid form of ID to vote.

Internal Revenue Service
Tell the IRS by using your new address when you file, by sending Form 8822 or a signed written statement, or by telling them in person or by phone.
Mail forwarding
Change your address with USPS online or at your local Post Office. Mail is then forwarded to your new address. Standard mail forwarding lasts 12 months.
