Driver's license and ID
By law, Illinois motorists must notify the Secretary of State within 10 days when their address changes. You can submit the change online or by visiting a Secretary of State facility.
Vehicle registration
In Illinois, an address change must be submitted for both the driver's license or State ID file and the vehicle registration file. Motorists must notify the Secretary of State within 10 days of an address change.
Voter registration
Illinois residents may register online, in person at the election authority's office, at driver's license facilities, with deputy registrars, or by mail. People who miss the registration deadline may register or transfer their registration at the election authority's office under grace period registration.

Mail forwarding
