In Florida
Driver's license and ID
Florida requires you to update your address on both your driver license or ID card and your title/registration within 30 days. Driver license and ID address changes can be done online through the MyDMV Portal or in person at a local office.
Vehicle registration
Your title/registration must also be updated within 30 days of an address change. A new registration showing the new address is issued when you submit an Application For Duplicate or Lost in Transit/Reassignment (HSMV 82101).
Voter registration
To change the address on your Florida voter registration, use any of the registration options: online at RegisterToVoteFlorida.gov, by mail or in person with the statewide application form (DS-DE 39), or at a tax collector's office that issues driver licenses or ID cards.
