In Minnesota
Driver's license and ID
Update the address on your Minnesota license or ID within 60 days of moving, or within 30 days if you are a commercial driver. You must do it in person by applying for a duplicate or renewing your card. This does not change the address on your vehicle records.
Vehicle registration
Keep your motor vehicle address current so you receive your registration renewal notice. Update it at a deputy registrar office, or online once you have created a MyDVS profile.
Voter registration
You need to re-register if your address changes. You can register online, with a paper form returned to your local elections office, or at your polling place on Election Day.

Internal Revenue Service
Tell the IRS by using your new address when you file, by sending Form 8822 or a signed written statement, or by telling them in person or by phone.
Mail forwarding
Change your address with USPS online or at your local Post Office. Mail is then forwarded to your new address. Standard mail forwarding lasts 12 months.
