In Colorado
Driver's license and ID
You can change the address on your Colorado license, ID or permit online with a myDMV account, by mailing Form DR2285, or with a change of address form at a driver license office. An address-only change does not give you a new card. You print a label with the new address for the back of your card.
Voter registration
Registered Colorado voters can confirm their registration at GoVoteColorado.gov. Once it is verified, they can update their address there.
Across the United States
Internal Revenue Service
Tell the IRS by using your new address when you file, by sending Form 8822 or a signed written statement, or by telling them in person or by phone.
Mail forwarding
Change your address with USPS online or at your local Post Office. Mail is then forwarded to your new address. Standard mail forwarding lasts 12 months.
