Driver's license and ID
If you move within Georgia, you have 60 days to update your license. You can submit the change online, in person, or through the DDS 2 GO mobile app, and the new license arrives by mail within 2 to 3 weeks.
Voter registration
You can update the address on your Georgia voter registration online by logging into My Voter Page. You can also update it through the Department of Driver Services or directly with your local elections office.

Tell the IRS by using your new address when you file, by sending Form 8822 or a signed written statement, or by telling them in person or by phone.
Mail forwarding
Change your address with USPS online or at your local Post Office. Mail is then forwarded to your new address. Standard mail forwarding lasts 12 months.
