In Maryland
Driver's license and ID
Maryland law requires you to report a change of address within 30 days of moving. You can change it online with your myMVA account or at an MVA self-service kiosk, and there is no fee just to update your address.
Vehicle registration
Keep your address current with the MVA so you receive your titles, registrations and notices. In most cases you can update it online through your myMVA account, during another MVA transaction, or by contacting the MVA.
Voter registration
You can update your voter registration address online with Maryland's Online Voter Registration System (OLVR), or notify your local board of elections. A change of address filed with the MVA is also sent to your local board of elections.

Internal Revenue Service
Tell the IRS by using your new address when you file, by sending Form 8822 or a signed written statement, or by telling them in person or by phone.
Mail forwarding
Change your address with USPS online or at your local Post Office. Mail is then forwarded to your new address. Standard mail forwarding lasts 12 months.
