In New Mexico
Driver's license and ID
Licensed drivers who move must notify the MVD of the new address within 10 days. You can change your address online or send the signed Change of Address form by mail or fax. To show the new address on your card, get a new license or ID at an MVD Field Office.
Vehicle registration
Vehicle owners who move must notify the MVD within 10 days, and the same Change of Address form updates vehicle information. Make sure your address is updated before you renew your registration, or change it on a mailed renewal notice before sending it in.
Voter registration
New Mexico's online voter registration lets you update your registration if your name or address has changed. To use it, your personal information must match what is on file with the New Mexico MVD.
